International Critical Tables of Numerical Data, Physics, Chemistry and Technology
Type: Data/Statistics/GIS
Description: Offers data on physical, thermodynamic, mechanical, and other key properties and is a major reference source used by those in chemistry, physics, and engineering. Many tables have been "knovelized" to be interactive. The full text of the original print version is available in PDF format (full- text searchable), including original index. All entries in index hyperlinked to their page numbers.
Knovel Critical Tables
Type: Data/Statistics/GIS
Description: kCT is a brand new reference featuring tables of properties for commonly used chemical compounds in the physical properties tables. kCT has expanded the original 6,000 chemical compounds in the physical properties tables of International Critical Table. Using multiple sources, kCT contains the most up-to-date chemical properties information available online.
Labyrinth
Type: Reference
Description: The Labyrinth provides free, organized access to electronic resources in medieval studies through a World Wide Web server at Georgetown University. The Labyrinth's easy-to-use menus and links provide connections to databases, services, texts, and images on other servers around the world. This project not only provides an organizational structure for electronic resources in medieval studies, but also serves as a model for similar, collaborative projects in other fields of study. The Labyrinth project is open-ended and is designed to grow and change with new developments in technology and in medieval studies.
Lecture Notes in Physics
Type: eBooks & eTexts

Description: Search high-energy physics related articles, including journal papers, preprints, e-prints, technical reports, conference papers and theses, comprehensively indexed by the SLAC and DESY libraries since 1974.
Smithsonian Physical Tables (9th Revised Ed.)
Type: Data/Statistics/GIS
Description: Comprising 901 tables concentrating on a broad scope of common physical and chemical data, the information provided is of general interest to scientists and engineers and of particular interest to those involved with physics in its larger sense. On knovel, the Smithsonian physical tables are now easy to navigate and are full-text searchable. All entries in the index are hyperlinked to their page numbers.
Thermochemistry of the Chemical Substances
Type: Data/Statistics/GIS
Description: This reference is a revision of the table of values for the heats of formation in the thermochemistry section in International Critical Tables. It includes 5,840 values of heats of formation and 350 values of heats of transition, fusion, vaporization, and reaction. All entries in the index are hyperlinked to their page numbers.
Web of Science
Type: Indexes & Articles
Coverage: 1975-
Description: "... accesses multidisciplinary databases of bibliographic information gathered from thousands of scholarly journals. The databases are indexed so you can search for specific articles by subject, author, journal, and/or author address. Because the information stored about each article includes the article's cited reference list (often called its bibliography), you can also search the databases for articles that cite a known author or work."--Tutorial screen.
